LATIUM ULTRA GRAVEL REGULATIONS
Art.1 - REGISTRATION
Registration to be carried out via the ENDU.NET platform. Persons who have reached the age of 18° at the time of registration belonging to every nationality may participate. Registration fees paid are non-refundable, cannot be transferred to another participant and cannot be frozen at another edition. Even physical ineligibility and the suspended medical certificate do not constitute a reason for reimbursement of the registration fee. The event will take place in all weather conditions. In the event of suspension due to alerts, alerts/weather or emergencies by entities not dependent on the organization, registration fees cannot be refunded. In case of suspension of sporting events following National or Regional Prime Ministerial Decrees, the Cicloraduno may be postponed.
Art.2 - MEDICAL CERTIFICATE
The aptitude medical certificate for the COMPETITIVE practice of CYCLING (certificates suitable for other sports do not apply) and compliant with Ministerial Decree 18/02/1982 and/or Ministerial Decree 26/04/2013 issued by a Sports Medical Center or a doctor, must have a subsequent expiry of 15 days from the date of the event. The medical certificate must be uploaded to the ENDU.net platform when you register online and by June 14, 2026. Attention: those who do not comply with the medical certificate will not be able to leave.
Art.3 – DEPARTURE- ROUTES - ARRIVAL
The departure of the Latium Ultra Gravel will take place in Rome from the La Mirage sports club in Via del Baiardo 380 from 24 to 29 June 2026 according to the provisions given by the organization of the event during registration. You can leave on several days - Route Along the 24th and 25th from 7 am to 4 pm; Routes Medium 24-25-26-27 from 7 am to 4 pm; Route Short 24-25-26-27-28 from 7 am to 4 pm on the 29th from 6 am to 7 am. Each participant must communicate the chosen route and the relative departure date during registration. Attention: The circular route will start and end at the structure indicated previously. About a week before departure, an email will be sent containing the gpx track, which may have variations compared to the declared km and difference in altitude. The participant will have to upload the provided track to his GPS device and follow it from the start to the end. At the arrival facility, there will be refreshment. There are four routes, one with approximately 800km of altitude difference, two with approximately 400km and approximately 5500 meters of altitude difference, and one with approximately 200km and 2200 meters of altitude difference. A 400km and a 200km route will also be in Audax Ari mode. You can participate with GRAVEL/MTB/E-MTB bikes.
Art. 4 – CHARACTERISTICS OF THE EVENT AND WARNINGS
The Latium Ultra Gravel, organized by Bike Better Tours ASD, is a Cycloraduno on asphalt roads, dirt roads and paths; the entire route will always be open to traffic and therefore it is MANDATORY for all participants to respect the Highway Code. The participant acknowledges that he is aware that the route is not signposted, travels at his own risk and is considered to be on a free personal excursion without any additional rights compared to other users of the paths and roads. It is aware that there is no health, food and mechanical assistance service from the organizers along the route; there is no collection service for the withdrawn and there are no search obligations on the part of the organizers of the participants on the route. The participant undertakes to communicate his/her withdrawal to the organizer by sending a text message or whatsapp to the telephone number that will be indicated to the members. The participant is aware that the organizing ASD Bike Better Tours is not a professional organizing body, but it acts only for recreational and non-pecuniary purposes (1174 Civil Code); and therefore participation in the Latium Ultra Gravel cycloraduno always takes place by free choice and for recreational purposes, however non-pecuniary. It therefore follows that the aforementioned organizing ASD is deprived, and in any case indemnified, from any liability connected to the cycloraduno Latium Ultra Gravel. E’ also indemnified from any responsibility regarding events that occurred to the cyclist such as: accidents, loss of route, physical problems, accidents, thefts, etc. It therefore follows that the Latium Ultra Gravel cycloraduno is to be understood as a mere spontaneous and independent meeting and participation of cycle tourists and amateur cyclists on free and personal excursions.The participant undertakes to respect and keep the places crossed clean: meadows, parks, villas, paths and agricultural properties, undertakes not to throw waste along the route and to place it in the appropriate collection containers. Good physical preparation, resistance to prolonged efforts, good knowledge of GPS use and orientation and above all a spirit of adaptation are required of the participants. Any type of external support is prohibited (only in case of emergency). The route must be followed in full and without cuts. If you move away from it you will have to take it back from the point where it was left.
Art.5 - MANDATORY KIT
For their personal safety, in case of emergency or loss of the route, each participant is obliged to carry with them, for the duration of their adventure, the following minimum safety equipment: helmet, repair kit (air chambers, tip top, inflate and repair, multi-tool, pump), water bottle, bell, mobile phone, approved helmet to always wear, white front and red rear lights, reflective jacket for the night.
Art.6- STANDARDS
By asking to participate in the Latium Ultra Gravel each participant:
* declares to have read and approved this regulation and to accept all its parts;
* declares to have become aware that the event is a non-competitive test of resistance and notable physical, psychophysical and unranked commitment;
* declares to be aware that some sections may be bumpy and require good driving technique, where necessary the participant will overcome the difficult section in his opinion by getting off the bicycle and proceeding on foot;
* claims to have experience in GPS navigation on off-road and/or otherwise untracked routes;
* states that he has experience and is aware that the route is not marked, is not monitored and there are no security posts and/or rescue personnel along the route;
* declares to have experience and be aware of the possibility of encountering adverse weather conditions and to be able to orient and cycle in such conditions;
* declares that he is physically prepared to face many hours on a bike non-stop and in complete self-sufficiency;
* declares that he does not resort to doping or drugs or medicinal substances that could alter performance or lead to situations of damage or danger to himself or others;
* declares to be aware that unexpected events such as landslides, sun, wind, rain, hail, lightning, cold, night, darkness, fog, snow, ice, landslides, encounters with unattended and/or wild animals, falls, accidental clashes with other participants or with people passing by and/or with vehicles on sections of carriage road and declares to be adequately prepared to deal with emergency situations;
* acts as guarantor of his own behavior during and after the demonstration;
* declares to be in possession of the aptitude medical certificate for cycling and compliant with Ministerial Decree 18/02/1982 and/or Ministerial Decree 26/04/2013 issued by a Sports Medical Center or a doctor;
* declares that he is in good physical condition, providing the organization with the broadest indemnity for any damage he may suffer as a result of his participation in the demonstration;
* expresses consent to the use of your data, also for commercial purposes, according to the provisions of the Privacy Law n. 196 of 06/30/2003
Art. 7 – PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA AND USE OF THE IMAGE OF PARTICIPANTS
Participation in the Event involves the processing of personal data of participants for the purposes and in the manner described in the Organizer's Privacy Policy. The data controller is the Organizer. By registering for the Event, the participant confirms that they have carefully read the Organizer's Privacy Policy. Video-photographic shots. The procedures for holding the Event include the creation of video-photographic shots for the purpose of documenting the event. The video-photographic footage will interest all participants indifferently and can be published and made available on the platform on the website and on the social pages of Bike Better Tours and Latium Ultra Gravel. The participant acknowledges and accepts that, in view of the public nature of the Event, the object of the services for disseminating and marketing video-photographic footage of the Event as well as the impossibility of selectively limiting video-photographic footage, to register and participate in the Event it is necessary to authorize the filming and use of your image in the manner and for the purposes indicated in these Regulations, as well as in the Release and the Privacy Policy
Art. 8– RELEASE FOR PHOTOGRAPHIC AND VIDEO FOOTAGE OF THE EVENT AND USE OF THE IMAGE OF THE PARTICIPANTS
Having read and approved the Participation Regulations and the Privacy Policy, recognizing that my registration and/or participation in the event constitutes a free and autonomous choice, with registration and/or participation in the Event in any capacity, I expressly authorize the Organizer, directly or through its service partners, to the video and photographic footage of my image in the context of the Event and the consequent use of the footage for purposes connected with the documentation of the Event by any means and through any channel or medium, digital (TV, internet, etc...) or analogue (newspapers, posters, brochures, etc...) The authorization is considered granted, pursuant to articles 10 of the civil code and 96 and 97 of Law no. 633/1941 (Copyright Law), free of charge, for the whole world and without time limits, always without prejudice to the limit of the protection of the decorum and dignity of my person, and with the right for the Organizer to authorize the sponsoring companies and the technical and service partners of the Event to use the aforementioned footage for the same purposes covered by this authorization.
Art.9- EXCLUSIONS
It also reserves the right to exclude cyclists who behave incorrectly before, during and after the event.
